Recieved the fourth time rejection from journals here, honestly, I feel used to it already. Life goes on, unaffectively.
Anyway, this gives me a chance to unpack rejection as a concept.
According to google or AI whatever, rejection is the act of saying no or refusing to accept someone or something, such as a job application or romantic advance or a new idea. Rejection essentially restraints our freewill when it comes to involving others. Rejection is a boundary drawed since the moment. There is nothing to feel sad about others use of this langauge, power, and agency tool.
Also, rejection by whom for what are some important factors to consider, which decides the answer for ”will this rejection has any consequences”? No one feel about the rejection itself but the conseuqnces coming along. Fortunately, most of rejections have very little impact or should have little impact on how should we live our life and how should we make choices. If any rejection makes us feel threatened in a level more than this mild impact, it is probably a fear that we managed to amplify and internalize somehow.
